Hermès Cheval d’Orient Porcelain Tea Cup & Two Saucers – Original Box

A beautiful and highly collectible porcelain ensemble from the iconic Hermès Cheval d’Orient collection.

Inspired by Persian miniatures of the 15th and 16th centuries, Cheval d’Orient celebrates the equestrian heritage of Hermès through richly decorated horses, intricate geometric patterns and sumptuous gold detailing. The collection was designed by Nathalie Rolland-Huckel and is made in France. 

This set comprises one Hermès porcelain tea cup and two matching saucers. The cup features the characteristic equestrian decoration and elegant gold-tone handle, while the saucers are beautifully finished with the elaborate multicoloured geometric Cheval d’Orient pattern.

The porcelain decorations are screen-printed and applied by hand using gold detailing. 

The set is accompanied by its original Hermès orange presentation box and the original Cheval d’Orient information/care booklet, making it especially attractive for collectors.

Condition

Vintage/pre-owned condition. The porcelain and decorative elements present beautifully in the photographs. Please carefully examine all photographs for the exact condition, as they form an important part of the condition description.

Because of the precious gold decoration, Hermès recommends gentle hand washing with a soft, non-abrasive sponge. The pieces are not suitable for microwave use.
